"As a volunteer at the Fort York Food Bank, I have seen the direct impact of the work done by Second Harvest. When the truck pulls up, it’s all hands on deck to get the food as quickly as possible to the growing number of Torontonians who rely on food banks to feed their families. The fresh produce is always received with gratitude by the growing number of students, parents and seniors who struggle to access healthy food."
