Second Harvest is Canada’s largest food rescue organization. Our mission is to keep food where it belongs: on plates and out of landfills.
We rescue unsold surplus food from thousands of food businesses across the supply chain and redistribute it to non-profits in every province and territory. This work prevents harmful greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere while improving access to nutrition for millions of Canadians experiencing food insecurity.

Anytime! Our fundraising campaigns run year-round.
Can a Second Harvest Representative visit my workplace/attend my event?
Yes! Email fundraise@secondharvest.ca to arrange a visit.
Can I get a tax receipt?
All donations made through this platform are eligible for a tax receipt, which will be sent directly to your email. If you haven’t received it, please check your junk or spam folder. You can also request a copy by emailing fundraise@secondharvest.ca.
