Mariah Hartmann is a Product Designer at Second Harvest, where she helps design and improve the Food Rescue App, connecting food businesses with non-profits to redirect surplus food to communities across Canada.

Mariah is driven by the opportunity to create digital solutions that advance Second Harvest’s vision of No Waste. No Hunger. She is inspired by the organization's commitment to reducing food waste, protecting the environment and increasing access to nutritious food, and is grateful to contribute to work that creates meaningful social and environmental impact.

Outside of work, Mariah loves playing tennis, exploring new places and bringing people together around the dinner table.

Mariah is honoured to be an ambassador for the Race to Rescue campaign and to support Second Harvest’s mission by helping raise 1 million meals for communities across the country. She is excited to be part of a movement that unites people around a shared goal: reducing food waste, fighting hunger and creating a stronger, more sustainable future for all.
