Hilary Messer-Barrow is a Yukon-based content creator sharing life from a remote northern community. Her work focuses on storytelling around place, connection and the everyday realities of living in the North.
She is joining the Second Harvest campaign because access to food in remote northern communities is something she experiences and thinks about daily. She’s interested in supporting efforts that reduce food waste and strengthen more equitable, sustainable food systems across Canada, especially for communities where access is limited and costs are high.
