Arlene Dickinson is one of Canada’s most recognized business leaders, Founder and General Partner of District Ventures Capital and the longest-running female Dragon on Dragons' Den after 15 seasons. A three-time bestselling author and sought-after speaker, she is known for inspiring entrepreneurs, students and leaders across Canada.
After immigrating to Canada at age 3, Arlene built a successful career in marketing while raising four children, eventually owning and leading her own business. Today, she serves on numerous public and private boards and is passionate about health, food and beverage, women in business and philanthropy.
Arlene has been inducted into Canada’s Most Powerful Women Top 100 Hall of Fame and the Marketing Hall of Legends, and has received the Queen Elizabeth Diamond and Platinum Jubilee Awards, among many other honours.
